NTT Ltd. is announcing a five-year partnership with TIP Trailer Services, one of the leading trailer and truck leasing, rental, maintenance and repair providers across Europe and Canada, to deliver innovative and scalable digital solutions for its business.

TIP Trailer Services is headquartered in Amsterdam and supports clients in over 100 locations across 18 countries in Europe and North America.  Multiple acquisitions combined with strong organic growth has seen its revenues increase significantly in recent years, with this trend set to continue. TIP Trailer Services needed to transform its legacy IT infrastructure to support the firm’s ambitious global growth plans.

Under the partnership, NTT Ltd. will help TIP Trailer Services migrate all existing infrastructure and critical business applications to a single, fully managed Microsoft Azure platform. This transformation programme will enable the company to deliver consistent global IT services that are flexible, resilient and secure, giving them confidence to scale as the business expands and grows.

Andy Wyatt, Chief Information Officer, TIP Trailer Services comments: “With NTT Ltd. we have secured a transformation partner we are confident will enable TIP Trailer Services to move seamlessly to a cloud-only environment. NTT Ltd. have designed a robust cloud solution, complete with managed security services, to help us reduce cost and complexity whilst transforming our IT service capabilities. NTT Ltd. has the right global footprint and deep technical expertise to provide the flexible and scalable platform our business needs to deliver its ambitious growth plans.”

Beyond cloud infrastructure programmes, NTT Ltd. will also complete a Citrix and Office365 migration into the cloud. Moving to the cloud will additionally improve employee productivity and business continuity through a consistent global IT service, supporting TIP’s approximately 3.000 employees to work virtually and flexibly.

These services will all be delivered under the newly formed NTT Ltd. company, as a result of its recently expanded portfolio. As part of this growth strategy, NTT recently announced a multi-year strategic alliance with Microsoft.

Paolo Masselli, CEO, NTT Ltd, UK and Ireland, comments, “We’re delighted TIP Trailer Services has chosen to partner with us on their transformation journey. It is a privilege to be working closely with the company to navigate the complexities of its legacy infrastructure and develop integrated cloud platforms that will underpin the next phase of growth for TIP. The business’ market leading position is a testament to the company’s commitment to delivering excellence, innovation and change.  We’re proud to be an integral enabler of this.”

NTT’s partnership with TIP Trailer Services continues to grow with an additional contract that will deliver a global managed IT service desk and End User Compute solution, further improving the quality of IT services for all of its employees’.
