eSentire executive leadership also announced the company has commenced development of a new Security Operations Center, scheduled to open in 2015 as the company scales to meet surging demand for its services.

The company was recently named Best Security Service Winner at the annual HFM US Services Awards, is a Deloitte Technology Fast 50 winner and ranks on the Canadian Innovation Exchange's CIX Top 20 most innovative Canadian companies.

In the United Kingdom, eSentire is partnered with Eze Castle Integration (ECI), and the company plans to expand its European partner network in the months ahead. In September, eSentire announced receipt of $14 million (CAD) Series C equity investment round to accelerate R&D, sales and marketing, as the company expands into new markets.

"The frequency, scale and sophistication of attacks on corporate networks around the world continues to challenge the forces of good, and we are seeing more organizations emboldened and interested in the continuous active threat protection difference eSentire brings to each engagement," said eSentire CEO J.Paul Haynes. "We are proud to expand our footprint in Europe and look forward to putting our proven threat protection technologies and incident response best practices to work for our growing clientele."

eSentire is the leading managed security service provider to more than 450 financial services firms, legal, extractive and healthcare organizations. eSentire pioneered Continuous Advanced Threat Protection, which leading analyst firm Gartner Research began covering in June 2014 as a best practices framework for defending against the most egregious cyber security attacks. eSentire delivers continuous monitoring, real-time threat detection and containment technology as a service with human threat analysts on a 24x7x365 basis. The company challenges legacy security approaches, combining behavior-based analytics, immediate mitigation and advanced threat intelligence.

eSentire CTO Mark McArdle is spearheading development of the company's European Security Operations Center to support the company's growing client base and global presence.

"We look forward to attracting top local talent and to offering rewarding opportunities for the best and brightest analysts in the industry," McArdle said. "Staffing is a critical function for any managed security service provider and an ongoing challenge facing the Information Security industry. We believe our proprietary blend of in-house technology with 24x7x365 eyes-on-glass active threat protection services are a major competitive differentiator and driving force behind our growth."
