Kao Data, a key player in the realm of data centres designed for AI and advanced computing, has appointed Clinton Hasell as their new Chief Business Officer. A veteran executive with over three decades of commercial and operational insight across the data centre, telecoms, and digital infrastructure industries, Clinton is stepping in to optimise Kao Data’s core business operations.
With his new role, he's tasked with overseeing strategic technology deployments and enterprise-level reporting. His leadership aims to make Kao Data more resilient and equipped to successfully expand, aligning their ambitious growth goals with operational readiness.
Clinton will also lead the development of Kao Data’s advanced infrastructure platform. His mission is to align UK and European growth plans with strategic, data-driven, and AI-accelerated insights. This ensures the company bridges its core business objectives across AI, Cloud, and Enterprise, resulting in measurable and performance-focused outcomes.
Additionally, his role focuses on end-to-end process optimisation via intelligent data, fostering informed decision-making while backing the company's investment strategies. The goal is to ensure Kao Data scales efficiently, maintaining sustained value for customers and investors alike.
Prior to this appointment, Clinton was instrumental at Global Switch as Executive Group Director, Europe, maximising the division’s profitable growth. His career also includes pivotal leadership roles at Interxion, steering the company from its $1bn IPO to its $8bn acquisition by Digital Realty Trust in 2020 — one of the most significant acquisitions in the data centre industry.
Clinton starts his Chief Business Officer role immediately.
