Panasonic returns to Data Centre World

Close Control cooling experts, Tecnair, a Panasonic owned company, is showcasing its highly efficient and reliable cooling solutions for all types of server rooms and computer centres at Data Centre World, Excel London (12-13 March 2025) – Stand DC385. Visitors will be able to learn more about the array of advanced precision cooling solutions, designed to meet the growing needs of data centre professionals.

With the emergence of generative AI, the demand for data centre power and capacity is set to rise higher than ever. Companies like Panasonic are striving to meet and beat the cooling requirements necessary to maintain this growth. Panasonic’s acquisition of Tecnair in February 2023, stands as a testament to the company’s commitment to stay ahead and address the growing need for data centre cooling requirements.

Thanks to the ongoing product development between Tecnair and Panasonic, the company can now offer solutions incorporating both Techline Series indoor units and compatible Panasonic PACi outdoor units. On display at the stand (DC385) will be solutions from its Close Control units including the compact P Series, the in-row R Series and compatible solutions from Panasonic PACi outdoor units. Showcasing its innovative sustainable technologies, there will also be the opportunity to learn about Panasonic’s hydrogen fuel cell for a greener solution to power production.

Highlights on the booth include:

• P Series: The P Series units provide strict control of room temperatures and humidity making the perimeter unit an essential for data centre applications, whilst having a very high energy efficiency ratio (EER) and low operating costs.

• R Series: The R Series is an in-row solution following from its design concept. Designed to be close to the racks, the Close Control units are positioned in accordance with the hot and cold corridor layout to help create a free flow of air, ideal to maintain temperature and air flow for any data centre.

• PACi: The outdoor PACi units are a compact and lightweight design adaptable for an array of large-scale applications. These highly efficient and compact Panasonic PACi outdoor units are compatible with Tecnair’s Close Control units and meet the growing power required to cool data centre servers.

• Hydrogen Fuel Cell: The need to explore efficient and sustainable energy sources is a growing issue for the industry. The Panasonic Hydrogen Fuel Cell system is an ideal solution to produce greener power for a wide variety of applications.
