CSPi's Technology Solutions division has won a $2.5M, 3-year service contract to provide IT managed services to Broward College, a high quality, higher education institution providing two- and four-year degrees to the community of South Florida. This managed services contract is designed to not only move the IT infrastructure of the College to a cloud environment - better suited to the change in information technology consumption models - but also to provide around-the-clock monitoring and management to ensure the health, security and performance of its multiple campuses.
CSPi Technology Solutions will deploy its Vital Elite Managed Service offering. This comprehensive solution will support the various campus and center locations spread across Broward County, Florida, and develop a strategic roadmap to migrate Broward College from a client-hosted model to a Cloud First environment. This will involve comprehensive assessments for Network Solutions, Wireless & Mobility, Data Center Solutions, and Advanced Security required to operate the colleges day-to-day operations. In addition, CSPi's team of engineers will provide 24x365 support, provide proactive monitoring and management of the college's Infrastructure. "Selecting a managed services partner that truly understood our business requirements was always a top priority during our search. CSPi not only architected the appropriate managed services solution, but built a road map that aligned with our long term business strategy and vision of migrating our data center workload to the cloud," stated Tony Casciotta, Broward College Deputy CIO. "Additionally, we were extremely impressed with CSPi's engineering expertise and felt comforted by the fact that CSPi's Technology Solutions office is located in Broward County."

It operates three main campuses, an online campus, as well as several satellite centers; all serving more than 63,000 students annually and employing a faculty and staff of 4,800.
"We are excited to continue our partnership with Broward College and assist them with this strategic initiative. They had a clear vision of where they wanted to take their IT infrastructure providing a solid foundation to collaborate in development of the ideal solution," said Victor Dellovo, CEO, CSPi. "our Vital Managed Services offering will allow the college to focus on one of their top priorities, the student experience, while CSPi manages the IT operations needed to fulfill a critical element of that goal. In addition, our managed services engineers will guide Broward through the ever changing network security and BYOD integration landscape."
