Redcentric introduces private network connection

Redcentric, a leading UK IT managed services provider, has launched a private network connection to provide businesses with a secure and reliable connection to Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft’s Azure platform or VMware’ s Cloud.

The new, dedicated connection will enable customers to achieve an improved performance at a lower cost as it removes their reliance on the internet. Its launch is the latest move in Redcentric’s strategy to help its customers work towards a hybrid cloud environment.
“Some of the most successful cloud installations so far come from companies taking an evolutionary approach and running on-premise and cloud hybrids. However, in a recent Redcentric survey, 96% of private sector businesses said they had some integration concerns, with 40% having major worries,” says Sean Paxton Product Manager for Networks at Redcentric.
“This new connection will enable businesses to enjoy the benefits of private cloud resources using the same private VPN connectivity that they use to link with their other sites.”
Redcentric believes the new technology will attract new customers to its WAN proposition – as well as help enhance its service to existing customers seeking the security it provides or wanting to open up migration routes for the future.
“This launch demonstrates our commitment to offering our customers best of breed solutions that help them optimise the benefits of the cloud,” concludes Paxton.
