The Hosting Services Framework is designed to maximise efficiency, collaboration and achieve significant cost savings in Scotland’s public sector, by providing organisations with easy access to sustainable and reliable hosting services. Buyers can purchase services through a mini-competition tender process via the framework where all suppliers are invited to bid, or they can purchase direct where they can identify their specific requirement via the catalogue and can identify best value. With the new framework, the Scottish Government hopes to further Scotland’s Digital Future by exploring more efficient forms of hosting services, while also generating economic growth and local employment opportunities.
