NaviSite named ‘Overall Data Centre Company of the Year’ at 2015 DCS Awards

NaviSite takes home the top prize for delivering customisable, robust data centre services.

NaviSite Europe was named ‘Overall DC Company of the Year’ at last night’s DCS Awards. The DCS Awards are designed to reward the product designers, manufacturers, suppliers and service providers operating in the data centre industry. NaviSite was recognised by public vote for providing outstanding customised solutions and services to its clients, including Fashion GPS and Virgin Wines.

NaviSite provides enterprise-class, cloud-enabled hosting, managed applications and services. Each of NaviSite’s products has been developed with flexibility and scalability in mind to service a wide range of customers across a variety of industries and their unique needs. For example, NaviSite provides customer Fashion GPS with a highly secure, resilient colocation facility. By implementing NaviSite’s colocation services, Fashion GPS was able to deliver a higher level of integration and faster response times for their customers, who have already experienced enhanced performance. Additionally, Virgin Wines, an online boutique wine merchant, has also been able to see tangible business benefits since the implementation of NaviSite’s managed hosting and support services for their e-commerce site. Virgin Wines sustained system performance through its most successful and busiest summer to date.

“It’s a great honour to be recognised as the overall data centre provider by the DCS Awards,” said Sean McAvan, managing director, NaviSite Europe Ltd. “We work hard to ensure that we understand each and every one of our customers’ business needs to provide them with a tailored solution that provides tangible benefits. We have built some great working relationships over the past few years including Fashion GPS and Virgin Wines, and we look forward to what the future has to bring and hope to keep delivering even more innovative solutions.”
