Customers moving to LeaseWeb Asia Pacific’s Hong Kong data center will have access to a comprehensive portfolio of infrastructure solutions that includes bare metal servers, cloud services and the ability to mix and match hybrid environments for enterprises’ most demanding applications and workloads.

The announcement highlights LeaseWeb’s aggressive expansion plans, with Hong Kong being the third new data center presence this year – others being Singapore and San Jose, California – increasing LeaseWeb’s global data center footprint to nine locations.
LeaseWeb Asia Pacific has deployed its Hong Kong data center operations in CloudSpace2 (HKCS2), Pacnet’s newest, Tier III data center in Hong Kong. The two-story facility is located at Tseung Kwan O Industrial Estate.
“Our data center operating agreement with Pacnet enables us to quickly expand our data center presence across Asia Pacific,” added Winkel. “Working with Pacnet provides LeaseWeb with the agility to respond to customer demand across the region – with Sydney and Tokyo examples of cities we’re looking at next as part of our expansion plans.
