SignNow appliance brings Cloud Workflow Management to organisations

Barracuda Networks, Inc. has announced the general availability of Barracuda SignNow version 4.0 and the new Barracuda SignNow Appliance, now supporting deployments in both cloud and on-premises environments. SignNow allows organisations to obtain signatures from customers, partners and employees in seconds, and significantly reduces document turnaround time.

The new Barracuda SignNow Appliance – available in hardware and virtual deployment configurations – allows users to share, sign and collaborate in a secure on-premises environment. Organisations can now deploy a robust eSignature solution on-premises or in their private or public cloud infrastructure for greater control over critical business documents. For example, customers can deploy their own instance of SignNow as a VM, and send all system and process emails through their own email servers.

“Barracuda continues to be at the leading edge of technology for workflow management, as evidenced by our Data Protection Plus initiative,” said Chris Hawkins, GM eSignatures, Barracuda. “The new SignNow Appliance gives organisations secure, flexible deployment options that are affordable, and easy to install and use. SignNow’s cloud-based service is trusted by millions of users. Now, customers who have more stringent security and access control requirements can benefit by deploying SignNow appliances into their own environment, improving productivity and further enabling their mobile workforce.”

SignNow’s latest releases come as a part of Barracuda’s recently launched Data Protection Plus initiative, which is aimed at helping customers access, retain and share critical data from anywhere and any device. Highlights of the SignNow Appliance include:
· Control of information both in transit and at rest – maintain on site or within VPN, and of retention and access policies and security protocols
· Control emails through use of existing SMTP services
· Support use of internal LDAP/AD for identity management
In addition to the SignNow Appliance, the new version 4.0 also includes a number of integrations and feature updates designed to help streamline business workflows.

· SignNow for Office365 Outlook – sign email attachments on mobile devices and desktops directly from within Outlook, as well as view status and send templates and documents

Millions of users trust SignNow with their eSignature and document workflow management. Using SignNow, organisations can obtain signatures faster and make transactions more secure. SignNow supports customers by working on all major platforms and is available with multiple deployment options. The New England Patriots will use SignNow for a variety of operations such as employee contracts, player contracts, on-the-field programs and vendor relationships.
