Vaultive advances Cloud enablement

Vaultive has announced strategic relationships with public sector technology specialist immixGroup and key Microsoft Mid-Atlantic partner CoreBTS to deliver persistent encryption for companies looking to adopt cloud services. The company also announced that Ken Knueven, previously the federal programs director for Microsoft, has joined Vaultive as its senior director of channels.

Knueven will drive Vaultive’s channel strategy, focused on facilitating adoption of cloud-based services in tandem with partners in key verticals including the federal, higher education and healthcare markets.

Recent disclosures of extensive data mining programs, such as the NSA’s PRISM and MUSCULAR, and escalating concerns about the threat landscape, highlight the continued risks businesses face when storing and processing data in the cloud. Through these partnerships, immixGroup and CoreBTS will offer customers the Vaultive platform to deliver persistent encryption of all data stored and processed by major enterprise cloud applications, ensuring customers can address the security, compliance and governance hurdles to cloud adoption.

“Cloud adoption is at a crossroads, with organizations in every industry balancing the cost and flexibility benefits of tools like Microsoft’s Office 365 against high-profile privacy and data ownership concerns making international headlines,” said Ken Knueven. “Vaultive’s approach to persistently encrypting cloud data empowers businesses to take advantage of the latest cloud applications, without fear of losing direct control of their data. Our partnerships with immixGroup and CoreBTS significantly extend our reach into the public sector and healthcare markets and will help drive significant growth for Vaultive.”

Vaultive’s Persistent Encryption Helps Channel Partners Secure Cloud Adoption
The Vaultive platform ensures that businesses can take advantage of the benefits of cloud-based services while maintaining complete ownership and control of their data. Vaultive’s innovative cloud encryption gateway and key retention capabilities provide a critical component in addressing these concerns, and complement cloud migration and management services delivered by partners.

Through its Advantage Partner Program, Vaultive helps partners remove roadblocks to the adoption of cloud services by enabling cloud-based services without sacrificing end-user ownership and control of data, regardless of where it resides. The addition of immixGroup, which helps technology companies do business with the government, and CoreBTS, a leading technology services company, along with the appointment of Knueven to manage the program, underscore Vaultive’s deep commitment to a channel-centric go-to-market strategy.

“Organizations are increasingly realizing significant value in cloud adoption,” said Steve Charles, Co-founder& Executive Vice President of immixGroup. “We are excited to support Vaultive through our public sector aggregation platform and provide the resources to help them grow their public sector business.”

immixGroup and CoreBTS join a long list of Vaultive Partners, including Agile IT Solutions, Ascendra, BeneluxSoft, Cert2Connect, CloudStrategies, Combo, Control Group, Exoprise, Hill-Commerce, INC, Intellect Security, Maureen Data Services, Project Leadership Associates, QTS Technologies, symturk, Turnberry Solutions and ZenData.

“CoreBTS is dedicated to helping our customers increase productivity while reducing risk,” said Bill Wilshire, Senior Vice President of Professional Services at CoreBTS. “This mission goes hand-in-hand with Vaultive’s encryption-in-use technology, which tackles the hurdles we have seen to adoption of cloud-based services such as Office 365 by regulated and risk-conscious organizations who require an independent mechanism to secure the cloud data.”
