Scabal finds Interoute's cloud a perfect fit

Luxury menswear clothing manufacturer migrates its IT infrastructure to Europe’s largest cloud services platform.

Luxury clothing manufacturer, Scabal, has chosen to migrate its entire IT infrastructure to Interoute, owner operator of Europe’s largest cloud services platform. Interoute will also support Scabal with the delivery of cloud-based telephony, video communication, system integration and centralisation of the company’s internal helpdesk. This move will enable Scabal’s design and marketing team to share data-heavy files and collaborate quickly with other parts of the business, using Interoute’s scalable and reliable managed hosting platform, which is fully integrated into Interoute’s pan-European network.

Faced with the challenge of moving its entire physical IT infrastructure to its new headquarters in Brussels, Scabal chose instead to migrate to Interoute's high performance cloud platform. This flexible solution meets Scabal’s current requirements and seamlessly accommodates future business growth. Advanced antivirus monitoring, full back up and storage, will work together to ensure that Scabal’s corporate and customer data is kept secure at all times. A state of the art monitoring system from Interoute is in place to prevent any disruption to Scabal’s business functions.
Filip Grymonprez, CFO, Scabal, commented: "We needed greater flexibility in the data centre in order to meet our storage needs today and in the future and Interoute stood out immediately as capable of helping us achieve these goals. Interoute is a great partner for supporting us in our long-term plans for growth.”

Jose Largo, IT director, Scabal, added: "Interoute’s integrated cloud solution gives us the ability to host a range of technology services and to unify our communications – from VoIP and video conferencing to expanding our corporate WAN. Interoute’s solution helps us optimise our total cost of ownership. What’s more, Interoute delivers everything within one flexible service model that can scale as our business does, without unnecessary up-front investment.”

Mark Lewis, VP of Communication and Connectivity Product Solutions for Interoute, commented: “We understand that the fashion industry is fast-paced and competitive. Moving to Interoute’s high-performance cloud platform means Scabal’s design, procurement, marketing and other departments can share the rich images, video and data they need to do their job, quickly and securely. As Scabal moves to take advantage of the many benefits cloud computing can offer, including greater integration, scalability and flexibility, it is also ensuring it continues to deliver the excellent quality and service to its customers it is renowned for.”
