If you know of, have had good service from, or even work for a cloud services vendor that you feel deserves to be recognised for the excellence of its products or services, here is your opportunity. The Storage, Virtualization, Cloud (SVC) Awards reward those products, projects and services, as well as honour companies and teams operating in the cloud, virtualisation and storage sectors.

The SVC Awards recognise the achievements of end-users, channel partners and vendors alike and in the case of the end-user category there will also be an award made to the supplier who nominated the winning organisation.

The SVC Awards categories are wide-ranging, covering most products that are likely to be found in the delivery chain of providing IT resources and services. So they cover a wide range of specific categories in both the private and public sectors, as well as over end user projects, channel service providers of all types, technology offerings and best vendors.

When it comes to the cloud, there are a range of awards up for grabs. These include Cloud Security Product of the Year, Public Sector Cloud Project of the Year, IaaS Solution of the Year, SaaS Solution of the Year, PaaS Solution of the Year, and Cloud Company of the Year.

Nominating any company or project is open to all and is free of charge. Nominations close on 16thof September and a short list will appear in early October. The Awards Ceremony, to be held at the prestigious Jumeirah Carlton Tower in the heart of London’s Knightsbridge, takes place on the 21stNovember.

Making a nomination is easy – simply point your browser here, pick your desired category, click on it, and follow the `Nominate’ link.
