NaviSite Desktop, Storage and Infrastructure-as-a-Service solutions awarded a place on UK Government’s G-Cloud III programme

NaviSite Europe Ltd has announced that three of its premier cloud solutions have been accepted onto the new Government G-Cloud III programme.

Local UK authorities, Government departments and other public sector organisations will now be able to purchase NaviCloud Dynamic Compute (infrastructure-as-a-service), NaviCloud® ONE (desktop-as-a-service), NaviCloud Intelligent Storage: Share and Vault (storage-as-a-service and backup-as-a-service) platforms through the Government’s CloudStore.

The third framework iteration of G-Cloud was launched in May 2013 along with a new CloudStore, which has been redesigned to be intuitive and easier to use: http://bit.ly/19CKdek. The Government web portal now provides access to more than 700 suppliers and more than 7,000 services. In just over a year CloudStore has already seen 1,000 invoiced purchases and sales of over £18.2m.

NaviSite Europe Ltd. joined the G-Cloud programme last year supplying its NaviCloud® Dynamic Compute Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) solution to Government organisations. Following another successful application the services offered by NaviSite on G-Cloud has now extended to include NaviCloud® ONE Desktop as a Service solution, NaviCloud® Intelligent Storage Vault and NaviCloud® Intelligent Storage Share which will allow organisations to securely backup and share large files in the cloud.
