Fasthosts introduces pay-as-you-go GPU servers to power business growth

These will enable businesses to accelerate AI modelling, data analytics, and other intensive tasks.

UK hosting provider, Fasthosts has introduced its new superfast servers equipped with NVIDA and Intel Graphic Processing Units (GPU).

Unlike traditional Central Processing Units (CPU), these high-performance GPU servers will allow businesses to scale operations, handle fluctuating traffic, control big data and elevate the training of their AI models quickly. This efficiency stems from the abundant cores that are inherent in GPUs.

With over 266 million businesses estimated to be using or exploring AI in their operations, Fasthosts GPU servers offer the high-performance computing necessary to handle massive datasets and intricate deep learning models, including generative AI.

Each GPU can be managed via the control panel on the Fasthosts CloudNX platform. These specific servers are suited for use cases such as data analytics, medical imaging, deep learning, financial modelling, game development and creating scientific simulations.

Simon Yeoman, CEO at Fasthosts says, “Our new GPU servers offer businesses unparalleled control and access to the resources needed for demanding workloads. All without the hefty price tag or hidden costs that often come with this level of immense computing power.

“Customers can be safe in the knowledge that our Tier IV, ISO 27001 certified datacentre will not only safeguard their servers, but sustainably house them. Their introduction is the natural next step for us, as they are flexible, reliable and come with round the clock support from real people. All of which align with our core values and Fasthosts commitment to providing customer-centric solutions.”

With a new pay-as-you-go model, customers will only need to pay for the server time they use, as opposed to purchasing a standard fix term contract. This gives customers flexibility and control, offering access to a choice of either NVIDA or Intel GPU servers. Both server types can take advantage of 10Gbps Private and Public network connection speed.
