Timico selects 360 Business Law’s subscription service for third consecutive year

Timico, a leading UK IT Managed Service Provider, has confirmed its commitment to 360 Business Law for a third consecutive year. The company has replaced its in-house council with 360 Business Law on a fixed monthly subscription, giving Timico access to a network of over 250 legal experts across 60 countries.

360 Business Law has proven its value to Timico across many projects including a multi-million-pound secure SD-WAN contract, with over 1200 customer franchisee sites as part of the digital transformation project. With access to multiple lawyers with varying specialist knowledge and experience, Timico was able to win the contract from the incumbent and successfully deliver the project within a short timeframe and tight deadlines.

360 Business Law’s unique subscription model was a key feature that appealed to Timico. Timico delivers Connectivity, UC&C, Cloud & Hosting, Security, and IT Managed Service solutions to UK-based head offices and multi-site organisations.  With sometimes complex converged managed services contracts, and growing GDPR compliance requirements, in addition to legal support requirements as part of Timico’s strategic acquisitions, an in-house lawyer was no longer an efficient expenditure for the business with complex, varying, and fluctuating workloads.  Even with an in-house lawyer, Timico had been seeking third party legal support for specialised legal work, or when there was a bottle-neck due to growing workloads.

Alex Hendry, Head of Commercial at Timico says, “The subscription model has been ideal for the day-to-day running of our business.  Generally, when you want to use an external lawyer, you need the CFO to approve the cost of every piece of work.  With the subscription service, we can rely on one external resource to support our legal needs without worrying about the costs racking up. It is great to be able to call upon the support of a highly qualified team you can trust at the drop of a hat.”
