Silver Peak has bolstered its EMEA channel team with the appointments of three regional channel account managers to deepen partner engagement and drive sales growth across the UK, France and Germany. The new appointments include Wayne Newman in the UK and Ireland, Philippe Dufour in France and Sara Ramezanpour in DACH.

A recent IDC Infrastructure Forecast predicts that the SD-WAN technology market will continue to grow to be worth $5.25 billion by the year 2023, just as Silver Peak is seeing an increased demand for its business-driven Unity EdgeConnect™ SD-WAN edge platform. Following the successful launch and expansion of the Silver Peak Partner Edge program within the last year – including the Global Partner Edge programme, the Cloud Partner Ecosystem expansion, and the Authorised Deployment Partner (ADP) programme – the new channel account managers underscore the company’s commitment to the EMEA region and channel.

Newman joins Silver Peak as UK and Ireland channel manager and is responsible for growing the UK and Ireland channel partnerships in line with the company strategy. With 25 years of experience in the UK IT channel, Newman joins the team from ProLabs, where he oversaw the EMEA distribution channel and managed the companies UK strategic reseller accounts.

As the channel account manager in France, Dufour is responsible for structuring and developing the Silver Peak channel presence in the region. Prior to joining, Dufour served in various channel and management roles at both Riverbed and Sophos over the last 15 years. With a background in the technical and engineering sphere at original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), Dufour migrated into the telecommunications market working in networking and telephony, as well as leading security teams.

Ramezanpour joins Silver Peak as channel manager covering DACH and is responsible for growing and developing channel partnerships, as well as scaling the Silver Peak Partner Edge programme across the region. With 22 years of experience in the DACH IT channel, Ramezanpour joins Silver Peak from Mimecast, where she worked with the company’s DACH strategic partners to develop and execute go-to-market strategies and plans.

“As the SD-WAN market rapidly shifts from early to mainstream customer adoption, scaling our partner program and enabling partners to succeed across the EMEA region will be critical to our long-term success in accelerating customer acquisition and solidifying our leadership position in the market,” said Kristian Thyregod, vice president of EMEA sales at Silver Peak. “With our industry leading Unity EdgeConnect SD-WAN edge platform, we’re scaling our channels across EMEA, enabling partners to address evolving enterprise network requirements while building profitable SD-WAN business practices.”
