ngena extends global network of alliance partners to Telia

Telia Company will offer global data connectivity services based on ngena’s Software-Defined Wide Area Networks (SD-WAN) to its enterprise customers.

Stockholm-based Telia Company AB has joined ngena – the Next Generation Enterprise Network Alliance (www.ngena.net). By becoming a member of the global telecommunications alliance, Telia Company will be offering ngena’s fully managed SD-WAN services to its enterprise customers. In addition, all alliance members will benefit from selected high quality Ethernet and Internet based wholesale access services in the Nordic and Baltic regions, which shall be immediately available in the ngena portal.

ngena provides enterprises with consistent data connectivity services, integrating all the alliance partners’ networks into a single global Software-Defined Network (SDN). Using state-of-the-art cloud and virtualization technologies from ngena’s strategic technology partner Cisco-Viptela, the alliance offers end-to-end managed Software-Defined Wide Area Networks. The combination of this technology with the alliance’s operating model and ecosystem gives customers of the alliance members access to secure, stable, scalable and easy-to-use global corporate networks, and provides high-quality local customer care.

Since ngena’s four founding members – CenturyLink, Deutsche Telekom, Reliance Jio and SK Telecom – made their official inaugural announcement at the Mobile World Congress in February 2016, the global alliance has now grown to include 20 renowned international carriers.

Data connectivity without limits and boundaries

We are expanding our global Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) portfolio by joining the Next Generation Enterprise Network Alliance (ngena) and by that we will be able to address our customers needs in an even higher grade.“
