Forfront joins award-winning Volta Data Centres

Forfront has successfully completed a major upgrade and migration of the infrastructure used to deliver e-shot™ – a marketing automation platform used by thousands of users in the private and public sectors.

These changes will help to improve the speed of the e-shot™ platform, maintain strong deliverability performance and help with the introduction of exciting enhancements to the platform in the coming months. Due to the complexity, the move was planned for almost a year and was completed successfully.

Forfront’s Technical Director, Richard Beacroft, commented: “We are proud of the quality and reliability of the service that we offer our customers. The performance enhancements will help us extend this even further. The team have done sterling work to ensure that the transition has been as smooth as possible, and we were delighted that downtime was minimal.”

The infrastructure was moved to Volta Data Centres, the fastest growing edge data centre in the UK. The company’s Central London location, high-density infrastructure and 100% uptime record was a major factor in the migration process, providing diverse, flexible and cost-efficient connectivity solutions.

The move is part of a programme of substantial developments underway to enhance the e-shot™ platform, alongside some exciting new product developments anticipated to launch in early 2019.
