Quiss extends support for legal sector with new client win

Managed IT services specialist Quiss Technology has been appointed to provide a range of support services to Darlingtons Solicitors LLP.

The growing North London based law firm, is a full service practice, specialising in property and personal legal services, with 48 users across the firm’s offices in Edgware and central London.
Operations Director at Quiss Technology, Clive Taylor commented: “Winning new business is always satisfying and confirms our Qworks offering is the right one. When that client is another law firm it further demonstrates our detailed understanding of the legal sector and how the appropriate technology will help increase productivity and improve efficiency.
“Our Qworks solution covers every user, for every eventuality. It incorporates everything an organisation might need from an operational and strategic perspective. It is a fixed term, fixed cost partnership, based on the number of users within the business and delivers total peace of mind.
“We have delivered a professionally designed robust network infrastructure, based on new hardware appropriate for the job, supported by our 30-man helpdesk, ready to solve any issues as they occur within agreed timescales.
“Qworks delivers significant improvements for Darlingtons, including proactive server management, which ensures we resolve faults before they become an issue for the business. A full disaster recovery solution instils confidence, as does our on-site IT training to help users get the most out of every application.
“Recognising the pressure law firms face to be ever more available to their clients, the tailored Qworks solution includes off-site ‘personal’ assistance, with Quiss engineers sent to assist Darlingtons staff at home when needed. I believe it is this flexibility to respond to personal IT requests that sets our service apart.”
Darlingtons Managing Partner, James Swede commented: “Like many law firms, we are seeking greater efficiency and productivity to ensure our clients continue to receive the quality of service they expect and technology is helping us achieve our goals.
“Quiss’ experience of the legal sector and knowledge of the software we rely on to run various aspects of our business proved a compelling pitch. Our users now have a single point of contact for most IT issues, without having to resort to the original vendor for help, which can save a lot of time.
“We are experiencing a period of sustained growth and the last thing we need to have to worry about is the scaling of our IT resources. Quiss has developed a range of services that offer any organisation a practical, pragmatic alternative to managing its own internal IT resources.
“The fixed term, fixed cost per user makes budgeting for growth simple. They’re always on hand to offer strategic advice and quick to respond to any IT problems as they occur, minimising disruption in what are busy offices. I would recommend the Qworks service to any business, except perhaps our competitors.”
Taylor concludes: “The legal sector is unlikely to see a reduction in pressure to deliver enhanced client services, whilst improving efficiency and productivity. Allowing Quiss to manage your IT services is at least one less thing to worry about.”
