Avnet has introduced a new UK partner enablement programme as part of its converged infrastructure practice. The practice supports channel partners delivering pre-architected and vendor validated IT infrastructure solutions and includes regular Avnet-hosted channel briefings and a centre of excellence, The Resource, located in Avnet’s newly upgraded UK demonstration venue. A purpose-built centre, The Resource is designed to provide technical and business expertise to support partners in the delivery of demonstrations of the latest IT trends, including converged and hyper-converged infrastructures.

The next channel briefing is being held at the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA), London, on Thursday 26th May 2016 and involves the following vendors: Cisco, Commvault, F5, HDS, HPE, IBM, NetApp, Nimble, Veeam and VMware. The programme will provide strategic insight into the converged and hyper-converged markets with presentations by senior executives from the leading vendors and Avnet. They will discuss how they are adapting to the impact of hyper-converged and what this means for them, the converged market and the UK channel in general.
During the past 12 months, Avnet has been working with the vendor community to create converged infrastructure solutions for business partners to take to market. By combining its technical skills with its ability to provide pre-integration services, Avnet makes it easier and faster for business partners to deliver and implement converged infrastructures to end customer organisations.
