In today’s data driven world the importance of quickly available, cost effective systems to support analysis is even greater. WhereScape RED on Teradata Cloud enables organisations to harness the power of WhereScape’s integrated development environment and the analytic power of Teradata quickly and flexibly without large upfront investment or ongoing infrastructure management.

WhereScape builds and manages Teradata data warehouses quickly by eliminating complex hand coding and streamlining the loading and transformation of data by automating and accelerating proven best practices. This delivers a simplified infrastructure with dramatically lower total cost of ownership, better governance and improved business and IT collaboration.

“WhereScape provides a compelling solution for quickly prototyping, building and extending Teradata data warehouses that can be quickly adapted as the business dictates,” said Dr. Claudia Imhoff, President of Intelligent Solutions and founder of the Boulder BI Brain Trust (BBBT).  “During these times where companies are operating with leaner IT staffing and decreased budgets, the availability of WhereScape’s automation solutions in Teradata Cloud provides an attractive alternative to time-consuming hand-coding and documentation development while reducing implementation risks and up-front costs.”

“We are pleased to extend our long-standing partnership with Teradata by joining the Teradata Cloud Partner Ecosystem,” said WhereScape President Mark Budzinski.  “WhereScape’s tight integration with Teradata’s Unified Data Architecture (UDA) has helped speed data warehouse deployments for dozens of Teradata customers including Sainsbury’s, Tesco, United Rentals and Vodafone.  The availability of our solutions in Teradata Cloud will only further accelerate deployments and simplify infrastructure management, enabling Teradata customers to attain value even faster from their investments.”

WhereScape RED for Teradata
WhereScape RED builds native objects optimised for the Teradata database.  WhereScape RED enables practitioners to access source data from multiple environments, create procedural code, scripts, and tables, build cubes, schedule updates, and generate documentation in HTML format, all while maintaining existing BI front-end compatibility.  WhereScape RED requires fewer resources to profile, build and deploy a Teradata data warehouse or analytic platform, creating a simplified infrastructure and dramatically reducing total cost of ownership.
