Symantec chooses Cloudian

Cloudian, Inc. has been selected by Symantec’s Veritas NetBackup™ 7.7 as a supported cloud-based backend on-premises data store. The new Cloudian cloud connector for NetBackup 7.7, designed on Amazon S3, allows organisations to leverage the cloud as a new storage tier, or as a secondary off-site location, for backup and recovery, at a reduced cost, with increased agility and ease of use.
