EMC appoints Ross Fraser as VP and Country Manager for the UK and Ireland

EMC Computer Systems (U.K.) has appointed Ross Fraser as the Company’s new Vice President and Country Manager for the UK and Ireland. After a long track record as one of EMC’s senior executives in the EMEA region, the new appointment is a promotion from his previous role as Vice President of Global Alliances, where he led EMC’s global alliances business across the EMEA region.

Mr. Fraser will report to Adrian McDonald, EMC’s President, EMEA, and will be responsible for revenue generation, management and business strategy for EMC in the UK and Ireland.

Mr. McDonald commented: "As EMC builds upon its focus on innovation in service delivery and product agility the IT market in the UK and Ireland continues opening up for EMC, thereby creating ambitious business goals. Having worked with Ross for many years, I know that he will lead EMC’s efforts in the UK and Ireland incredibly effectively, set clear vision for the region, and bring his own unique experience to bear. ”

Mr. Fraser joined EMC 16 years ago from Data General. He then went on to run EMC’s Scotland region, and then UK and Ireland’s North region before becoming the VP EMEA Global Alliances in 2012.
