iSheriff expands global Cloud security network

Cloud-based security provider iSheriff has launched new cloud data centres in eight countries in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region including Switzerland, Israel, Romania, Poland, Iceland, Belgium, Austria and the Isle of Man. iSheriff data centres are connected to the company’s global private backbone network, with more than 1,000 points of access worldwide.

The iSheriff Cloud Security Network is the largest in the world, ensuring global redundancy and scalability for customers, and providing advanced multi-layered threat protection to keep organisations secure and compliant worldwide. iSheriff Cloud Security Network users are protected at all times, regardless of where or how they are connecting. iSheriff customers can simply select the regions where their policies and log data are stored to enable compliance with local data privacy regulations.

“At iSheriff, we provide our customers with the industry’s best multi-tenant cloud security platform that is the simplest and most cost effective way to protect data and devices from digital threats,” said Paul Lipman, CEO, iSheriff. “The addition of these new EMEA cloud data centres reflects the tremendous business traction that we are experiencing in the region.”

Unlike its competitors’ legacy “big iron” approaches, the iSheriff Cloud Security Network is fully virtualised, enabling rapid data centres expansion and scale. The new EMEA cloud data centres were deployed and launched within a matter of hours. Customers are automatically routed to the nearest data centre, enabling them to instantaneously enjoy the benefits of the enhanced global reach and capacity of the iSheriff Cloud Security Network.

iSheriff delivers the industry’s easiest to deploy and manage security-as-a-service (SaaS) solution for protection against today’s multi-vector threats and compliance challenges, combining the power, flexibility and ease of a cloud-based service offering with a seamlessly integrated suite of critical technologies. This includes Web filtering and malware protection, advanced endpoint anti-malware and application controls, anti-spam and email threat prevention.
