State University System of Florida selects Rosslyn Analytics

12 universities embrace cloud analytics to leverage their collective buying power.

The State University System of Florida has selected Rosslyn Analytics, a global leader in intelligent data technologies, to leverage its collective $3 billion in purchasing power by exploiting the value of data using cloud-based spend analytics.

The State University System of Florida will implement Rosslyn Analytics’ RAPid Cloud Data Platform over the next 12-18 months to obtain complete spend visibility in and across its 12 public universities.

“The State University System of Florida selected Rosslyn Analytics because its RAPid Cloud Data Platform offers the best overall value, delivers maximum flexibility through its self-service tools and custom reports/dashboards, and provides an intuitive user interface,” said Ian Robbins, Chief Procurement Officer at Florida State University, and the chairman of the vendor selection committee for the recent Florida State University Spend Analytics Competitive Solicitation.

Procurement teams at each of the 12 institutions will rely on Rosslyn Analytics’ RAPid Cloud Data Platform to provide complete and accurate spend visibility to drive strategic sourcing initiatives, provide departmental level scorecards, track, report, and validate cost savings as well as measure key performance indicators.

The Board of Governors at the State University System of Florida will also use the RAPid platform to review progress on its shared initiatives, identify additional efficiency and cost saving initiatives and provide assistance to institutions.

The State University System of Florida selected Rosslyn Analytics because:
· RAPid centralizes spend data from individuals institutions quickly using automated data extraction tools
· RAPid provides business users with intuitive self-service tools required to classify and visualize data on-the-fly without third-party support
· RAPid can extend reporting and analytical capabilities on-demand by connecting spend data to other sources of information such as contracts and supplier performance metrics
· RAPid is delivered as-a-service means the State University System of Florida does not need to buy or manage any technology

“Rosslyn Analytics is excited to be working with the State University System of Florida, providing our data technologies to procurement teams that are looking into the future on how they can deliver value to stakeholders today,” said Jeff Sweetman, Chief Operating Officer, Rosslyn Analytics.
