Riverbed appoints regional VP for UK and South Africa

Riverbed Technology has announced the appointment of Karl Campbell as Regional Vice President for the UK and South Africa. Campbell will be responsible for overall strategy and execution of campaigns in these regions, with the aim of driving the next phase of Riverbed’s growth.

Campbell joins the Riverbed® team with more than 20 years of experience in developing emerging markets and penetrating developed markets in enterprise software and management solutions. Alongside stakeholder and investor management, he has also built and led top performing, global sales, operations and management teams, including Cura Software Solutions, Carbon Systems and Logicalis.


As Regional Vice President of UK and South Africa at Riverbed, Campbell will be responsible for growing and developing the Riverbed business presence in these regions whilst driving the company’s go-to-market strategy within the Riverbed® Application Performance Platform: Riverbed® SteelFusion®, Riverbed® Granite®, Riverbed® Stingray™ and Riverbed® Performance Management.

Prior to joining Riverbed, Campbell was CEO of Cura Software Solutions for 5 years in Singapore. He has also worked as EMEA MD for CarbonSystems and Regional MD EMEA at Progress Software.


Throughout his career, Campbell has thrived in leadership roles and continued to successfully lead teams into new business opportunities. He has a proven track record of executing aggressive M&A, internal growth, change management and business turnaround initiatives.
