Peplink, a leader in developing internet load balancing and VPN bonding solutions, has removed the restrictions on out-of-warranty devices using its innovative InControl 2 Cloud Based device management, monitoring, and reporting tool designed specifically for Peplink and Pepwave devices.

All new Peplink and Pepwave products include a subscription to InControl as part of the standard multi-year hardware warranty agreement. However, previously after these original warranties expired customers would need to extend this agreement to retain access to the cloud based device management software service. “We felt that our customers and partners should have the power to decide how they want to organise their device management and warranty strategy,” says Martin Langmaid, Technology Evangelist for Peplink.

“In some cases, this change will offer customers that only want InControl access and not extended warranty on older products a saving of up to 80% compared with a traditional hardware warranty extension. This change is the result of feedback from our customers and we think the new approach is an option they will appreciate.”

Hosted on the Amazon Web Services platform, Peplink InControl 2 offers a wide range of features spanning Fleet Management, Centralized SpeedFusion Management and Device Monitoring and Control including firmware updates and rollbacks. The latest version includes the ability to easily find any device using interactive maps with a point and click interface to see device details, such as cellular signal strength and number of clients.

InControl 2 subscriptions are applicable to Balance 20, 30 and One Models, MAX On-The-Go, BR, Surf SOHO, FusionHub Essential and FusionHub Pro models. For MSPs and service providers, InControl 2 is also available as a value-added managed service.

Peplink Routers and Access Points allow Ethernet, Satellite, DSL, Wi-Fi, 3G and 4G networks to be bonded together forming a single aggregated resilient link to increase bandwidth, enhance Internet reliability, and reduce costs. The portfolio also includes a number of innovative cloud based management & monitoring tools. Peplink has established distribution agreements and a network of partners across the region serving flagship customers including First responders, Logistics companies and Construction companies. Peplink technology also forms a critical component of a number of innovative projects within mobility and education.
