Virtustream has partnered with Sapphire Systems, a global provider of financial accounting and business management solutions. The partnership will see Virtustream provide Sapphire with fully managed IaaS capabilities for its SAP Business One OnDemand environments worldwide.
Virtustream’s expertise in hosting and infrastructure out of UK, US and EMEA data centres will allow Sapphire to provide a consistently high quality hosting service to its customers around the world. The µVMTM (micro-VM) technology that underlies Virtustream’s cloud management software, xStream, will enable Sapphire to deliver enterprise-ready, secure cloud environments for mission critical and production applications such as SAP Business One.
The managed IaaS capabilities Virtustream offers and experience in dealing with ERP software performance has seen Sapphire capable of managing complex, production-critical applications for clients without impact on business performance.
“Virtustream’s expertise and proven experience in managing SAP Business One OnDemand environments enables us to offer a consistently high quality hosting service to our customers,” said Ian Caswell, managing director at Sapphire Systems. “As a globally accredited IaaS provider that works so closely with SAP, Virtustream will enable us to provide a range of support services to our customers around the world and allow them to focus on adding value to their business.”
“We are excited to partner with Sapphire Systems and help them provide the highest quality of advanced financial accounting and business management solutions to our shared customers internationally,” said Simon Aspinall, Chief of Vertical Markets, Strategy and Marketing for Virtustream. “The assured application-level SLAs that we can guarantee for performance and availability will give organisations the ability to run production applications in the cloud without disrupting the company’s daily activities. This is a long-term partnership that we look forward to expanding beyond Sapphire’s SAP Business One environments.”
