BridgeSTOR introduces Global Cloud File Management and Sharing

BridgeSTOR, LLC has announced the latest member of its Coronado family of Cloud Storage and Gateway products. BridgeSTOR’s Coronado Synchronization Server enables business enterprises, government entities and other users of Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3®), public object storage and private cloud storage to easily and securely access cloud-resident data from multiple locations world-wide without regard to the data’s physical location.

A single Coronado Synchronization Server operates in conjunction with multiple Coronado Cloud Storage Gateways to provide comprehensive, consistent and secure access to cloud-resident data to all cloud storage users.

The Coronado Synchronization Server delivers a comprehensive suite of cloud storage services to distributed, world-wide enterprises. Featuring the Coronado Global File System that aggregates a view of files stored in the cloud regardless of their geographical location, the Coronado Global File System enables the seamless sharing of common data without moving files from their cloud storage locations while distributing content and maintaining file synchronization. This capability enables the same applications to be deployed world-wide.

Also featuring Global Cloud Deduplication and Compression, the Coronado Synchronization Server achieves the most effective level of data reduction across all data and files stored in an enterprise’s cloud storage environment. BridgeSTOR’s data reduction adds further benefit to the solution by optimizing the transfer of data across the network both to and from the storage cloud.

Through Active Directory integration, the Coronado Synchronization Server provides the security and authentication required by enterprise users in order to safeguard their data.

“With the delivery of the Coronado Synchronization Server, BridgeSTOR now offers the industry’s most comprehensive and feature-rich family of Cloud Storage access products to enterprise customers”, says John Matze, CEO, BridgeSTOR, LLC. “BridgeSTOR now offers a complete and comprehensive set of tools to enterprise cloud storage users that enables them to easily incorporate cloud storage into global corporate file sharing, workflow collaboration and application deployment strategies.”
