Data centre provider kicks-off 20th anniversary with rejuvenated partnership offering

Data Centre & IT Infrastructure provider Onyx Group have revealed the details of the re-launched Business Partner Programme. Onyx will be offering three distinct programmes for companies wishing to benefit from their extensive IT portfolio and infrastructure.

Specialists in Data Centres, Cloud Backup, Cloud Hosting and Connectivity solutions, Onyx Group are offering a new business partner programme for resellers, referral partners and companies wishing to create their own white-labelled product. Onyx already have successful partnership programme, accounting for over 25% of their £20m turnover. With their new offering now including enhanced discount rates, access to marketing campaigns, staff sales training and both pre and post-sales support, the IT Infrastructure providers are looking to build upon the strong foundations of their current partner programme.

John Toal, the recently appointed Sales & Marketing Director at Onyx, and previously Director of the UK’s largest enterprise computing distributor Avnet UK, believes that with one of the leading IT Infrastructures in the UK, Onyx are the perfect choice for companies seeking a partner to help maximise their business potential.

Toal stated: “With our 5 wholly owned state-of-the-art data centres, network ranked in the top 1% worldwide and a resilient Cloud Platform, we have the infrastructure in place to guarantee our partners 100% availability and confidence in the products they are selling. By utilising our infrastructure and services, businesses can benefit from a cost-effective and low risk approach to entering one of the fastest growing sectors in the IT industry.

“Unlike many other IT vendors offering similar propositions, Onyx has the proven track record of delivering our customers an exceptional service over a 20 year period, establishing a level of trust that we will pass on to our partners as they deliver new services to their customers. Trust plays a key role in any partnership, and with our secure ISO 27001 accredited facilities, accredited and experienced engineers, 24/7 Support, guaranteed uptime levels and a company-wide desire to continuously invest in our infrastructure, businesses can feel safe in the knowledge that the service they are offering is the very best.”

In a move to strengthen their current partner programme, Onyx have recently appointed James Carver to the role of Commercial Director. Using the experience that he has built up over a number of years working for highly reputable technology companies such as EMC and Northamber, James will work side-by-side with account managers to help maximise the commercial potential of their partners:

“We want our partners to grow alongside Onyx Group and adapt to changing environments as we do. Onyx can help complete the perfect solution for companies with a real desire to both satisfy the needs of their current customer base and excel in winning new business.”

“The companies we work with have varying levels of needs and requirements which we have addressed whilst developing our Business Partner Programme. Whether they wish to simply use our referral scheme, where we will deal with the complex sales process, right through our partners selling their own white label versions of Onyx products, we have a programme available that will suit their needs.”
