The new backup replication feature in VMware vSphere Data Protection 5.5 Advanced works out-of-the-box to copy backups of data into the cloud through network-efficient, encrypted replication, without requiring add-on licensing or additional infrastructure components like WAN accelerators. As a service provider iomartcloud can now build out these new backup to the cloud offerings with the general availability of VMware vSphere Data Protection 5.5 Advanced.
