Quorum names John Newsom as Chief Executive Officer

Quorum has appointed John Newsom as chief executive officer and member of the board of directors effective immediately, succeeding interim CEO Walter Angerer. The company also announced that Angerer will become the executive chairman of Quorum’s board of directors and will continue to play a key role in guiding the company, supporting Newsom in shaping technology and business direction.

Sungard Availability Services (Sungard AS) has revealed that UK invocations have hit their highest levels since 2009.
