Node4 has announced two appointments, with Neil Muller becoming Group Chief Executive Officer and Patrick De Smedt taking on the role of Non-Executive Chair.

Muller brings experience in leading technology services organisations and is expected to focus on Node4’s strategy and its AI-augmented managed services platform. He will also work on the company’s ERP, CRM, and data analytics offerings, which support businesses in areas such as security and operational efficiency.

Prior to joining Node4, Muller held roles including CEO of Digital Space and Daisy Group, and spent 20 years at Computacenter UK&I.

Patrick De Smedt joins as Non-Executive Chair following Chris Woodhouse’s tenure in the role. De Smedt is expected to provide strategic oversight and governance as Node4 continues its development.

His previous experience includes chair positions at companies such as Nasstar, KCOM Group plc, and Microsoft EMEA. He also currently serves as Chair of Bytes Technology Group plc and The Rent Company B.V., with experience in technology businesses and the Microsoft ecosystem.

The appointments follow Node4’s stated focus on continued growth and development. Michaël Vervisch of Providence Equity Partners commented on the company’s platform, team, and customer-led strategy, and expressed support for the new leadership appointments.

Node4 will continue to operate in the managed services and technology solutions market, focusing on secure and connected technology services for its customers.
