Check Point introduces strategic AI security enhancements

Check Point has unveiled an AI-focused security strategy, supported by three acquisitions.

Check Point Software Technologies recently announced an AI security strategy aimed at enhancing its platform's capabilities. This new strategy consists of four key components that address the diverse needs of modern enterprise environments in the AI era.

Understanding the four pillars:

  1. Hybrid Mesh Network Security: This pillar ensures cohesive security for distributed enterprises across hybrid clouds, data centres, and internet environments, utilising a unified and AI-driven architecture.
  2. Workspace Security: Focuses on securing digital workspaces that include endpoints, browsers, email, and SaaS applications, enhancing protection for platforms where AI drives collaboration.
  3. Exposure Management: Offers comprehensive attack surface visibility, allowing organisations to prioritise risks based on business context.
  4. AI Security: Guards the full spectrum of AI adoption, from employee use to sophisticated enterprise AI applications.

Each pillar works in conjunction with Check Point's open platform model, which allows integration with existing security systems while promoting prevention-first protection across diverse vendor settings.

To reinforce its strategy, Check Point disclosed its acquisition of three companies: Cyata, Cyclops, and Rotate. Cyata specialises in AI agent identity management, Cyclops provides cyber asset management, and Rotate offers solutions tailored for managed service providers.

As artificial intelligence continues transforming business operations and cyber threats evolve, Check Point aims to ensure its clients are equipped to face these changes.
