Infosecurity Europe, an information security event, will run from 2-4 June 2026 at Excel. The event has announced the debut of its first Cyber Startup Programme, an initiative aimed at supporting early-stage cybersecurity companies and contributing to the development of the cyber ecosystem.
The programme, set to launch at Infosecurity Europe 2026, is aimed at nurturing cybersecurity startups. It will bring together founders, investors, and enablers with a show-floor experience. The initiative combines exhibition spaces, curated conference content, a live competition, and networking opportunities, reflecting Infosecurity Europe’s focus on innovation and early-stage business development.
A highlight of the programme is the Cyber Startups Zone—an area dedicated to aspiring startups. It provides a platform for cybersecurity startups, investors, and businesses to explore new technologies, investment opportunities, and growth strategies.
The Cyber Startup Programme caters to businesses at various stages of their journey. From planning to becoming channel-ready, connecting with industry partners, or identifying emerging trends, the event facilitates building relationships with investors and innovation leaders.
The programme partners with UK Cyber Flywheel, planning a day dedicated to founder and investor-centric content. A live award competition marks the event, with finalists pitching ideas on stage before a panel of senior industry leaders, investors, and buyers. The winner will be announced during the show.
The award prize includes a complimentary exhibition stand at Infosecurity Europe 2027, PR support from Origin Communications, and a brand consultancy and Future-Brand Workshop package from Dusted brand consultancy. Interested businesses are encouraged to submit a written entry up to 1,000 words detailing their company and product offerings.
The programme aims to demonstrate the importance of cybersecurity in protecting UK's infrastructure, economy, and citizens. It aims to build a well-connected and resilient cyber ecosystem, drawing together communities to enhance innovation.
Additional conference sessions tailored for startup founders aim to provide practical advice on scaling, go-to-market strategies, and long-term growth plans. The Founder Conference Track will provide insights and real-world strategies to help founders build cybersecurity brands.
In collaboration with the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT), the Cyber Innovation Zone will highlight micro, small, and medium-sized cybersecurity companies. This platform aims to spotlight approaches and government-backed initiatives contributing to the future of the UK's cyber landscape.
Registration for Infosecurity Europe 2026 is open, with free entry until 12th May. Post this date, attendance costs £49, granting access to the exhibition and theatre talks featuring key industry leaders.
