Vertiv has launched Vertiv Next Predict, an AI-powered managed service for data centre maintenance. The service moves beyond traditional time-based maintenance approaches, using AI to support proactive, data-driven monitoring of infrastructure and early identification of potential risks.

Modern data centres require oversight and coordination across power, cooling, and IT systems to maintain operational performance. Vertiv Next Predict applies predictive analytics to help organisations maintain consistent performance across distributed environments.

The service uses AI techniques such as anomaly detection to monitor operational conditions and identify deviations early. A predictive algorithm assesses potential operational impacts, prioritising response and isolating root causes. Corrective measures are carried out by Vertiv personnel based on system data and operational context.

Next Predict is designed to operate across Vertiv’s power and cooling platforms, including battery energy storage and liquid cooling solutions. Its architecture allows integration with future data centre technologies as part of a unified service framework.

Vertiv’s network of trained personnel and experience in critical digital infrastructure supports the deployment of the service, providing monitoring, risk mitigation, and maintenance support for AI-driven and high-density data centre environments.
