Rackspace techenology elevates cyber defense with AI enhancements

Rackspace technology enhances its cyber defence centre with AI-powered tools, ensuring superior threat detection and security processes.

Rackspace Technology® announced innovative enhancements to their Rackspace Cyber Defence Centre (RCDC). This development introduces AI-enabled solutions to ensure continuous threat detection, isolation, and remediation across diverse cloud environments.

Central to these advancements is the Rackspace AI Security Engine (RAISE). This powerful tool seamlessly blends human expertise with machine-driven precision, effectively addressing skills and resource gaps in cybersecurity. RAISE excels at processing signals, detecting patterns often overlooked by traditional controls, and recommending remediation actions using real-time trend analysis.

Enrichment of event data with context, such as probable causes and suggested triage, empowers Rackspace's SOC engineers to quickly respond to threats. The adaptive intelligence model employed by RAISE continuously improves its detection, response, and communication skills over time.

As D K Sinha, President of Public Cloud at Rackspace Technology, noted, this blended approach leverages human expertise alongside advanced AI and automation. Enhancements lead to faster, consistent, and confident decisions, ensuring an efficient end-to-end experience for stakeholders across businesses.

The recognition of Rackspace's capabilities by the Information Services Group (ISG) underscores their leadership in cybersecurity. The 2025 Provider Lens™ Cybersecurity – Services & Solutions Report highlighted RACKSPACE’s expertise in Strategic Security Services, Next-Gen SOC MDR Services, and Technical Security Services.

In ISG's words, “Rackspace Technology integrates AI across its SOC operations through RAISE, accelerating threat detection and response.” This comprehensive integration minimises manual overhead, enhances incident triage, and ensures precise attention to critical security events.
