Fortinet's Fabric-Ready Technology alliance: Driving seamless security integration

Fortinet’s Fabric-Ready Technology Alliance has achieved over 3,000 integrations, empowering enterprises to bolster security amidst digital transformation challenges.

Fortinet®, the global leader in cybersecurity, has crossed a significant milestone with its Fabric-Ready Technology Alliance Partner Program integrating with over 3,000 technologies and comprising more than 400 partners. This development highlights the open and collaborative nature inherent in the Fortinet Security Fabric.

The rapid expansion of this program demonstrates Fortinet’s dedication to providing interoperable, comprehensive security solutions that streamline operations.

With digital attack surfaces widening, enterprises often juggle numerous security solutions with 68% reporting between 10 and 49 tools or platforms. Fortinet addresses these complexities through their expansive Open Ecosystem, which supports over 3,000 pre-validated integrations designed for their Security Fabric. These integrations convey insights across cloud, virtualisation, security operations, automation, and more, offering enhanced visibility, security, and simplicity in operations.

“Fortinet’s Open Ecosystem is among the largest in the cybersecurity industry, enabling customers to integrate the Fortinet Security Fabric with their existing and future technologies,” said Neil Prasad, Vice President and Head of Global Technology Alliances at Fortinet. “With more than 3,000 integrations, we are helping organisations strengthen their overall security postures, improve the effectiveness of their security operations, and accelerate their digital journey with confidence.”

Since inception in 2015, the program’s membership has expanded 36-fold, including partnerships with industry heavyweights like Armis, CrowdStrike, and Qualcomm. These partners, with expertise in areas ranging from endpoint security to cloud connectivity, form part of the Fortinet Open Ecosystem.

Key benefits include:

  • Broad Visibility: Open architecture provides comprehensive views of security risks across environments.
  • Simplified Operations: Automation of security policies through Fortinet Fabric Connectors minimises manual intervention.
  • Enhanced Incident Response: Real-time threat intelligence sharing facilitates coordinated responses.
  • Rapid Deployment: Pre-validated integrations streamline costs and speed up operational readiness.

Ganesh Swaminathan, Vice President and General Manager, Wireless Infrastructure and Networking of Qualcomm Technologies said,“Qualcomm Technologies is proud to be part of Fortinet’s Fabric-Ready Partner Program. This collaboration combines Qualcomm’s leadership in Wi-Fi 7 and advanced wireless networking technologies with Fortinet’s deep expertise in network security to deliver high-performance connectivity. Together we’re enabling enterprises to accelerate their digital transformations through intelligent and secure networking solutions.”

The scale and depth of Fortinet’s Open Ecosystem make it a standout in cybersecurity. From automated policy synchronisation to community-driven DevOps scripts, the ecosystem caters to diverse requirements like IoT and cloud integration, supporting the digital acceleration journeys of its customers.
