Kyndryl equips Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency with mainframe services

Kyndryl has successfully been awarded the contract to provide managed mainframe services on the zCloud.

This will be a two-year contract during which Kyndryl’s zCloud services will provide business continuity for DVLA’s services.

Technology to Enhance DVLA Customer Service and Operational Efficiency

With the rising demand for digitalisation and seamless customer service, DVLA have an ongoing programme to modernise its existing systems.

Continuity of mainframe services during this transformation will be critical to its success. By harnessing Kyndryl’s mainframe modernisation capabilities, the DVLA will be able to maintain outstanding service levels to UK citizens while navigating the transformation journey.

Kyndryl’s contribution will be transformative to how customers use the DVLA’s services in the future, by enabling the DVLA to securely pivot in line with future technology advances.
