Swiss Post selects Fincons Group to provide scalable application development

Fincons Group, an international system integration consultancy with offices in Switzerland, Italy, Germany, France, the UK and the US, has been awarded the contract for the supply of scalable, efficient and highly skilled application development and IT support services to Swiss Post. Fincons will provide maintenance of the client’s existing applications and will develop new solutions over a period of various years.

Fincons Group offers a solid track record of experience working with international public institutions and has recently delivered groundbreakingly innovative digital services to another major European postal services provider. Fincons prides itself in guaranteeing vertical skills and in depth sector knowledge combined with financial competitiveness to its clients.

The Fincons team will be cooperating in the development and enhancement of IT applications in the logistics area.

Fincons Group will, therefore, be providing a dedicated multilingual team of resources specialised in Rx-Java and Java, working from Italy in Smart Shore from the Bari Delivery Center, a flagship service that supports a range of international players with a pool of multilingual, scalable, highly trained IT resources. The Delivery Center is the beating heart of Fincons’ offering and the Group will be cutting the ribbon on a new building in Bari to house additional resources and respond to growing client demand in 2022.

Another key element favouring the selection of Fincons were its high corporate social responsibility compliance standards. Specifically, Fincons Group met requirements for training levels and staff development standards, for health and safety, environmental commitment through energy efficiency and recycling measures, sustainable procurement and stringent data protection standards.

Michele Moretti, CEO at Fincons Group, declares: “We are delighted to have been selected by such a prestigious partner in Switzerland, a historical market for Fincons Group where we now have three offices, including our Group Headquarters, and 240 local professionals of the over 450 overall in the Group that serve the Swiss market. We are committed to furthering our investments in order to fuel our growth and support an increasingly international range of clients with innovative services that help them truly transform their business.”
