Westcon, the international technology distributor, has signed an EMEA distribution agreement with Ping Identity, the Intelligent Identity solution for the enterprise.

Ping Identity is the latest addition to Westcon’s growing Next Generation Solutions (NGS) offering, further strengthening the distributor’s leading portfolio. The Ping Intelligent Identity™ platform provides a comprehensive suite of identity services including multi-factor authentication, single sign-on, access security, directory, data governance and intelligent API cybersecurity.

Since the beginning of this year, security and productivity have been brought into focus more sharply than ever before. A mobile workforce requires secure access to allow employees to work effectively from anywhere, on any device, but without compromising the security of critical data and systems. Legacy identity and access management (IAM) tools are not sufficient to securely manage this. Ping Identity provides market-leading workforce identity solutions that enable businesses to boost employee productivity and increase business agility, while improving their security posture.

Daniel Hurel, Vice President of Westcon EMEA, Cyber Security & Next Gen Solutions, Westcon said: “We are delighted to add Ping Identity to our growing portfolio of NGS solutions. There has never been a more important time to be able to seamlessly manage identity and empower employees to work securely from anywhere in the world. We are pleased to use our tried and tested go-to-market approach to bring Ping Identity’s leading solution to our wide network of resellers. We look forward to helping Ping Identity make its position in the EMEA market even stronger.”

Phil Allen, Vice President, EMEA, Ping Identity added: “This partnership is evidence of the growing IAM market and the move away from traditional perimeter solutions. At Ping Identity, partners are at the centre of what we do and we’re excited to be working with Westcon to expand our channel community and capitalize on accelerating demand. Westcon’s experience in cyber security and next generation solutions gives us confidence that together we can help enterprises ensure that the right people have access to the right information at the right time, and we look forward to a successful partnership.”
