Accelerating its leadership in security and compliance for SharePoint, Office 365 and other Microsoft infrastructure, Cipherpoint has opened the corporate office in Germany and appointed Steven Bliim as Managing Director for the European subsidiary, effective Feb. 5, 2020.

“Steve has successfully relocated to Germany and will take Cipherpoint’s success to Europe, specifically the DACH region, to bring enhanced SharePoint security and mitigate risks in large European businesses that have large Microsoft infrastructure footprints,” said Ted Pretty, CEO of Cipherpoint. “cp.Protect and cp.Discover have already proven technical and commercial qualities and will bring special functionality to the European SharePoint community, Steve's experience and local presence will aid organizations to get exactly the solution they need more easily and quickly.”

“Cipherpoint’s robust solution meets the complex requirements of EU GDPR as well as PCI DSS, HIPPAA and other regulations exceptionally well while securing customer's Microsoft environment and reducing operational expenses.
