KeepIt A/S expands European network adding SEP to its growing partner ecosystem

Keepit A/S, a leader in cloud-to-cloud backup and Data Loss Prevention solutions, has formed a global partnership with German hybrid backup and disaster recovery specialists SEP, which will see it providing cloud services to SEP’s global enterprise clients.

Available as part of SEP’s sesam recently launched data backup solution “Beefalo”, which compiles multiple systems into a centrally managed hybrid backup tool, Keepit’s solution will enable instantaneous access to business critical data in the event of data loss, ensuring seamless productivity. The partnership will also provide SEP’s customers with the ability to protect critical SaaS workloads across Office 365, Google G -Suite and Salesforce, simplifying the backup and recovery process.

This partnership is the latest in a long line of strategic deals that Keepit A/S has signed to further its growth in new sectors and new markets. Last month it announced a partnership with SaaS based technology platform Continuum Managed Services, with further business alliances planned to be disclosed over the coming months.

“With increasingly more business activity conducted through pure online services, the need for companies to protect their data estate so they can keep working in the event of a data loss crisis has never been greater. We are thrilled to be announcing SEP as our latest partner, which comes at a time of rapid growth for the business” says Frederik Schouboe, CEO of Keepit A/S”

“Companies deploying SaaS applications often assume the vendor provides enough data protection for them to be ‘safe’, and end up overlooking the need for cloud backup. This is a risky position to adopt, as many don’t realize that vendors are only responsible for the infrastructure, not for their data specifically. Data can still be lost, deleted in error or even be held to ransom, however our partnership with KeepIt helps solve this dilemma by offering our customers the ability to simply and efficiently protect their data. The support will be provided by SEP, so users will benefit from our award-winning service,” says Georg Moosreiner, CEO of SEP AG.

The partnership between KeepIt and SEP will actively work towards improving productivity for SEP’s customers. They will have access to a complete range of world leading Data Loss Protection solutions, no matter if is on-premise or through SaaS based Systems. With data recovery tools rated as a high priority for businesses, this partnership will grant SEP’s customers peace of mind that their business operations will be safe from the negative effects of data loss, even in worst case scenarios.
