Indianapolis School District taps Scale Computing for IT infrastructure at the edge

MSD Wayne Township’s first school, Ben Davis High School, was established in 1892. Since then, the district has grown to more than 16,000 students in 21 schools spread across 35 miles in Indianapolis. Due to this expansion, MSD Wayne Township needed a scalable, flexible IT solution capable of processing compute at the edge of the network.

Before migrating to Scale Computing, the school district utilised a blend of cloud computing for its IT infrastructure but realised that many of its services are better provided on premises. MSD Wayne Township turned away from many virtualisation solutions due to the high licensing costs until they found Scale Computing.
