MTG has chosen Tieto as its strategic partner for a range of IT services that will support a comprehensive modernization of the company’s IT platform.
Under the three-year agreement, which can be further extended, MTG’s security systems will be reinforced. Furthermore, the objective is to increase efficiency by using a pay-per-use subscriptions model for software, data capacity and business tools that can easily be switched on and off.
“Tieto meets our high expectations on technical solutions and cutting-edge knowledge to assure a continued modernization of our IT environment. The partnership strengthens our security systems and increases flexibility as we introduce a platform that adapts to our changing needs for digital work tools. The solution can easily be scaled up or down on a monthly basis,” says Mikael Pommert, CIO, MTG Technology.
MTG and Tieto have six years of successful cooperation behind them in a relationship that now deepens further. The new technology solutions will be based on cloud services protected by Next Generation Firewall (NGFW), which prevents system intrusion and downtime and facilitates a highly productive work environment.
“We are honoured to have been selected for the strongest offer in a thorough evaluation of competing IT providers. We are also proud to have gained the trust of MTG and look forward to the challenge of successfully supporting the company’s rapid development,” says Mats Jadesk?ld, Vice President Sales, Tieto.
