Zenium appoints head of facilities

Reinforces focus on service excellence and driving operational efficiencies.

Steven Hayward has joined the Zenium team as Head of Facility Management Services. Hayward is a highly respected multi-disciplined engineering and facilities management specialist with a reputation for driving process and procedural excellence.  He also has a proven track record in understanding customer requirements and developing sound business relationships through his valued consultancy.

Hayward brings a wealth of knowledge to Zenium, having previously worked as a Royal Air Force Engineer and with financial and blue chip enterprises, data centers and critical environments.  Prior to joining Zenium he was Facilities Director at Sentrum (acquired by Digital Realty), where he delivered best in class customer experiences and exceptional results.

In this new role Hayward is tasked with maintaining operational efficiencies and the highest of service delivery standards across the Zenium portfolio.

“The ability to provide our international clients with uniform standards and the same operational efficiencies across all of our facilities – regardless of the country in which they reside – is the key to securing and maintaining long term partnerships with our customers,” said Franek Sodzawiczny, CEO at Zenium.

“Steven’s unique experience in the aeronautical sector – one of the most demanding working environments - makes him ideally suited to join the Zenium team.  His focus on raising the bar on standards and tackling innovation means our approach to data center operation is already part of his DNA.”

Hayward added: “Zenium has put customer service at the top of its business agenda. I look forward to now working with the extended team to deliver the best possible data center protocols – from reception through to reporting.”
