Paul is joining 6DG from Rackspace UK and brings 10 years’ sales management experience in the IT Managed Services space. Prior to Rackspace, Paul held sales leadership positions at JT Group and Maxima Managed Services.

Commenting on the appointments Alastair Mills, CEO at Six Degrees Group, said, “The appointments of Danny and Paul are significant coups for Six Degrees. Danny has an excellent track record in private equity backed technology companies and I am delighted that he has agreed to join the board. Paul’s experience in leading sales in managed hosting and managed services for the mid-market are exactly the areas we are targeting for our future growth around cloud platforms and application management services.

“We have seen a step-change in the scale of our business, which has more than doubled its headcount in the last two years, and these timely additions reflect our ambition to continue to expand as we look to become the dominant player in the UK mid-market for converged cloud and application hosting. We are delighted that Danny and Paul are joining the team and I am confident that they will each make a significant contribution to the execution of our business model.”
