“We have been looking at ways to meet a growing customer demand and add to our already extensive portfolio of SSD products,” said Nick Powling, Hammer’s General Manager, Components. “We wanted to ensure we are able to offer our customers a complete array of SSD products; linking with Samsung is key to that.

“Samsung is a dominant manufacturer in the SSD/ NAND sector. It is innovative and first to market with a number of disrupting technologies, such as V-NAND, and this is just the kind of vendor with which Hammer seeks to establish lasting partnerships.

“As a leading value-add IT distributor, this relationship underlines Hammer’s commitment to provide our customers with access to a wide range of storage and memory products, emphasising and strengthening our foothold in this fast-growing market.”
