Cloudian and Lenovo combine over object storage

Lenovo and Cloudian disrupt the $87 billion data centre technology market with new easy to deploy object storage appliances for low-cost, scalable storage.

Cloudian's HyperStore has been selected by Lenovo as the object storage software for a new StorSelect appliance. The factory integrated Lenovo Storage DX8200C powered by Cloudian delivers Cloudian HyperStore’s full S3 compatibility, unlimited scalability, multi-tenancy and data policy management in an easy to deploy and support appliance. The DX8200C powered by Cloudian will make it simple for enterprises, managed service providers (MSPs) and value added resellers (VARs) to transform traditional proprietary data storage to smart software-defined object storage at one cent per gigabyte per month.
